GridPulse Infrastructure

Hotels & Resorts

Hotel phone charging stations and power bank kiosks for lobbies, lounges and meeting floors.

Guests arrive with drained devices and ask the front desk for a charger. GridPulse replaces that borrowed-cable routine with a managed amenity: a charged portable Power Pack the guest takes with them through the lobby, the bar, the spa or a full day of meetings.

A hospitality amenity that looks like it belongs in a luxury lobby, operated as infrastructure rather than as another device your team has to maintain.

What the platform delivers

Guest experience

A premium, self-service amenity guests can use in seconds, in the lobby or wherever they happen to be on property.

Managed deployment

GridPulse handles placement planning, installation coordination, monitoring and service, so property teams are not absorbing another maintenance line.

Revenue and media

Rental activity plus an on-property screen your marketing team can use for F&B, spa and event messaging, subject to the final commercial model.

Measurable operations

Utilization, inventory and fleet health reported through PulseOS™, so the amenity is reviewed on evidence rather than anecdote.

Operational reality

Why hotels & resorts deploy GridPulse

01

The front desk absorbs charger requests. Cables are lent out, rarely returned, and never match every guest device.

A self-service Hub in the lobby moves the request off the desk entirely, with integrated cables covering common connectors.

02

Lobby outlets and improvised charging spots undercut a design-led space and crowd seating areas.

A single matte-black Hub with a subtle Beacon™ halo consolidates charging into one intentional piece of furniture.

03

Meetings, weddings and conference floors create sharp, short bursts of demand that permanent outlets cannot follow.

Mini Hub™ units can be positioned on event floors and registration tables for the duration of a program, then returned to their usual placement.

04

Property messaging reaches guests through printed collateral that nobody updates.

Hub displays can carry property-controlled content — restaurant hours, spa offers, event schedules — scheduled centrally through PulseOS™.

How it works

Borrow a charged Power Pack. Keep moving. Return it at a Hub.

For hotels this usually means a guest borrows in the lobby and returns before checkout, or moves between a lobby Hub One™ and a Mini Hub™ in the bar.

  1. Step 1

    Tap or scan

A guest taps the contactless reader or scans the QR code on the GridPulse Hub™ display. No app download is required to start.

  2. Step 2

    Borrow a charged Power Pack

A charged portable Power Pack releases from the bay. Integrated cables cover the common phone connectors, so nothing else is needed.

  3. Step 3

    Charge while moving

The guest keeps moving through the venue while the device charges — no seat next to an outlet, no waiting at a wall.

  4. Step 4

    Return at a participating Hub

The pack is returned to any open bay at a participating GridPulse Hub™ on the property and the session closes automatically. Returns across separate properties depend on the Hubs deployed in the GridPulse Network™.

Product fit

Hub One™ and Mini Hub™, matched to the space.

Hub One™ for the lobby and public floors

The full-height Hub One™ suits arrival areas, lobby lounges, conference pre-function space and resort concourses, where it doubles as a visible amenity marker and a large-format display surface.

Mini Hub™ for bars, lounges and desks

The compact Mini Hub™ sits on a countertop — bars, lobby lounges, coffee shops, concierge and front desk, club floors and smaller properties — and delivers the same platform in a footprint that fits an existing counter.

On-property offers

F&B, spa, retail and event offers can be surfaced at the moment a guest is standing in the lobby with time to spare.

PulseOS™ and analytics

Privacy-conscious, aggregated operational insight.

Utilization by placement

Which Hubs are used, when, and how long packs stay out — useful for deciding whether the bar or the lobby needs another unit.

Available packs, charge state and unit status, monitored remotely so a depleted or offline Hub is visible before a guest finds it.

Aggregated engagement

Screen and session engagement reported in aggregate. GridPulse does not use facial recognition and does not build personally identifying guest profiles.

Campaign reporting

Play and interaction reporting for property or partner campaigns running on Hub displays.

PulseOS™ reports utilization, inventory and campaign activity in aggregate. GridPulse does not use facial recognition and does not build personally identifying profiles.

Site review and placement

A walkthrough of lobby, F&B and event areas to agree placements that respect sightlines, circulation and brand standards.

Power and network

Standard building power and network connectivity assumptions, confirmed against the property's engineering requirements before installation.

Monitoring and service

Remote fleet monitoring through PulseOS™ with a defined service and support process for the deployed units.

Questions

Hotels & Resorts frequently asked questions

How much floor space does a hotel deployment need?

Hub One™ occupies a compact freestanding footprint suitable for a lobby or pre-function area, and Mini Hub™ sits on an existing counter. Exact placements and clearances are agreed during the site review.

What does it cost the hotel?

GridPulse can structure managed pilots with no venue capital purchase, subject to site review and commercial agreement. Commercial terms, including any revenue participation, are specific to each property.

Where do guests return the Power Pack?

At any open bay on a participating GridPulse Hub™ on the property. Returns at other properties depend on which Hubs are deployed in the GridPulse Network™.

Who maintains the units?

GridPulse monitors the fleet remotely through PulseOS™ and handles service. Hotel staff are not expected to manage cables, batteries or screen content.

Can we control what appears on the screens?

Yes. Content is governed by the property. Advertising or sponsor placement only runs where the hotel has approved it, and reporting is aggregated rather than personally identifying.
