Theme Parks

Theme park phone charging stations and portable power bank rental across the park.

A park day runs on the phone: tickets, the app, maps, ride reservations, mobile ordering and photos. By early afternoon the battery is the limiting factor. GridPulse puts charged portable Power Packs across the park so the day keeps going.

Park-wide charging infrastructure placed where guests already queue, eat and shop, operated and serviced by GridPulse.

What the platform delivers

Guest experience

Guests keep tickets, the park app, maps, reservations, ordering and photos working for a full day.

Managed deployment

Placement planning, installation coordination, monitoring and service across a large outdoor footprint, handled by GridPulse.

Sponsor and seasonal media

Screens for seasonal events, sponsor activations and park messaging, subject to park approval and the final commercial model.

Measurable operations

Land-level utilization and fleet health reported through PulseOS™ to guide placement across the park.

Operational reality

Why theme parks deploy GridPulse

01

Everything the guest needs is in the app, and the app is the fastest way to drain the battery.

Portable Power Packs let guests charge while queuing, walking or eating instead of stopping at a locker or outlet.

02

Guests who stop to charge stop spending.

Borrow-and-go keeps guests moving through dining, retail and attractions with the device alive.

03

Demand shifts between lands, seasons and event nights.

PulseOS™ shows where packs are running out so the fleet can be rebalanced between operating days.

04

Park app and ticketing systems are tightly controlled.

GridPulse operates standalone. Any integration with a park app, ticketing or loyalty system is a planned capability subject to partnership and integration work.

How it works

Borrow a charged Power Pack. Keep moving. Return it at a Hub.

In parks, guests typically borrow near an entry or midway Hub and return at any participating Hub before leaving for the day.

  1. Step 1

    Tap or scan

A guest taps the contactless reader or scans the QR code on the GridPulse Hub™ display. No app download is required to start.

  2. Step 2

    Borrow a charged Power Pack

A charged portable Power Pack releases from the bay. Integrated cables cover the common phone connectors, so nothing else is needed.

  3. Step 3

    Charge while moving

The guest keeps moving through the venue while the device charges — no seat next to an outlet, no waiting at a wall.

  4. Step 4

    Return at a participating Hub

The pack is returned to any open bay at a participating GridPulse Hub™ on the property and the session closes automatically. Returns across separate properties depend on the Hubs deployed in the GridPulse Network™.

Questions

Theme Parks frequently asked questions

How much space does an in-park Hub need?

Hub One™ takes a compact freestanding footprint clear of guest flow. Placement, theming and quantity are agreed during the site review.

What does it cost the park?

GridPulse can structure managed pilots with no venue capital purchase, subject to site review and commercial agreement. Terms are specific to each park.

Where do guests return the Power Pack?

At any open bay on a participating GridPulse Hub™ in the park. Returns at other properties depend on the Hubs deployed in the GridPulse Network™.

Who services the units during operating hours?

GridPulse monitors the fleet remotely through PulseOS™ and provides service and support, so park operations are not managing batteries or content.

Can this connect to our park app?

App, ticketing and loyalty integration is a planned capability, subject to partnership and integration work. The Hub works standalone without it.
